Dates to Remember
June 28 – Last Instructional Day of School!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are wrapping up a school year like no other and now our students are eager to enjoy all that summer has to offer. On behalf of the Public Schools Branch Board of Directors and myself, I want to thank you for your cooperation, patience and support throughout this very unique school year.
Over the summer, the PSB will collaborate with the Department of Education and Lifelong Learning and Department of Health and Wellness regarding September start-up. Updates will be posted on our website and social media accounts. Please enjoy your summer.
Children with Complex Needs Survey
Student Services has collaborated with Colin Hood, Children with Complex Needs Coordinator, to develop a survey to learn about the needs of children and youth in PEI. The survey seeks information about all children in PEI, regardless of whether or not they would be considered a child with complex needs.
Health PEI has been working on gathering information about children with complex needs and the difficulties they face. Please note that the survey is for *ALL* children in PEI regardless of their current need for health care services. Help HPEI plan health care programs for children by filling out the survey today!
Birchwood Student Orientation Tuesday, September 7 is an “Orientation Day” for grade 7 students only. Grade 8 and 9 students will start on Wednesday, September 8.

PLEASE SEE OUR COMMUNITY NOTES PAGE FOR NEW LOCAL NOTICES & OUR HOME AND SCHOOL PAGE FOR CURRENT H&S NEWS
All lunches must be dropped off by 11:15am
It has come to our attention that the speed of the two way traffic on Glen Stewart Drive between 2:20 and 2:40 on the school days is dangerous. We are concerned with students crossing Glen Steward Drive while parents wait in their cars.
Please help us keep your child safe by walking to the front area of the school close to the Canadian flag pole to safely pick up your child.
We know that your child’s safety is your number on concern as it is ours.
Thanks for helping out! Sincerely,
Janet Cameron Principal
