-The Musical Spoons Group will hold their first practice next Tuesday after school until 3:45 p.m. Interested students are asked to pick up their Permission Forms.

Today-Thursday (Feb. 12th-14th) a candygram fundraiser will be held in support of our Farmers Helping Farmers twinned school, Michaka Primary. Funds raised will be donated to purchase mosquito nets and to support the school garden. Leadership students will be visiting each classroom to present details surrounding this event. Each candygram will cost $1.00 and will be on sale at lunchtime.
GRADE 6 TRANSITIONING:
Information went home with students on January 31st regarding upcoming meetings for parents with students transitioning to Grade 7 next year. Also included on this note was information of student events as well.
-Tonight there will be a meeting at Birchwood Cafeteria at 6 p.m. for parents with students interested in signing up for Late French Immersion (Storm Day: February 13th).
We welcome Leo Phalen & Sawyer Trainer, former students, to our school. They are sharing their Late French Immersion experience with our Grade 6 Core French students this morning.
