December 14th (Friday)–DAY 2

The food drive our Grade 6 classes organized will conclude today. Thank you to everyone for contributing to this fundraiser. A draw will be held at noon and we will announce the student winner of the basket. Mr. MacDonald from the Food Bank will be here with his truck this afternoon to load up the food items on behalf of the CBC Feed-A-Family! In addition, our Grade 6 classes will be featured with Jay Scotland at some point on this evening’s Compass at 6 p.m. and our check will be dropped of later today as well! Once again, thank you for your support.

Once again we welcome Jason MacNeil to our school. Mr. MacNeil is from the Orwell Corner Museum and he continues with presentations  to our Grade 5 classes this morning.
-Ms. Bell, Youth Worker, and our faithful community volunteers will continue to operate the Breakfast Program up to and including Friday, December 21st (the last day of classes in 2018!) This program will resume on Monday, January 7th (2019!) We would like to take this opportunity to thank our volunteers for their dedication ensuring our students’ morning nutritional needs are met.
-The on-line Hot Lunch Program will suspend after December 21st. Delivery of food items ordered will resume on January 7th (Monday, 2019!)
-If you are missing apparel from your house, you are invited to check out our Lost & Found table which is located in the direction of the Gym. All items remaining after the 21st will be donated to a local charity.
Next week students and staff  are invited to dress according to a theme as follows:
Monday-17th….Wear Red & Green Day
Tuesday-18th…Jersey Day
Wednesday-19th…Hat Day
Thursday-20th….Dress like a Christmas Ornament Day
Friday-21st…..Ugly Sweater Day
