There will be an information meeting for parents on January 29, 2018 at Stratford Elementary School at 6:30pm in the multipurpose room. This meeting was requested at the January 3rd parent meeting where parents heard details on the planned expansion for Stratford Elementary School.
Lindy McQuillan, a parent volunteer with the Home and School, and current District Advisory Council representative for Stratford Elementary School will summarize the actions and decisions taken to date in relation to Stratford students. In addition, Lindy will present the projected forecast of student population versus school occupancy. These projections will include examining the current situation in Stratford with the planned expansion, as well as reviewing projections for Junior High and High School (which has impacts on all families attending the Charlottetown Rural and Colonel Gray Family of schools). After reviewing the facts and forecasted projections, the meeting will be opened to parents to have a discussion on next steps.
This a parent meeting only. There will be no administration present from any of the schools or from the Public Schools Board.
