-Permission forms are to be returned as soon as possible for Glee students to sing at Andrews of Stratford Seniors Home.
-Over 70 Glee t-shirts have been ordered. If any Glee students haven’t returned their order form and $10 yet, please do so by tomorrow.
TINY JAMMERS DANCE:
Classes continue on Tuesdays (2:30-3:45 p.m.) for students who have registered.
PARENT-TEACHER INTERVIEWS:
Forms are going home with students today regarding appointments for the upcoming interview on Thursday afternoon/evening of November 16th and Friday, November 17th.
COUPON BOOKLET ORDERS:
– Orders are due November 14th and 15th. Books will be sent home Friday, December 1st. Thank you to Patricia Callaghan, Home & School volunteer, for organizing this initiative.
HALLOWEEN:
-Students are invited to wear orange & black tomorrow.
SCHOOL PICTURES:
-Reminder of picture re-takes….Wednesday, November 1st.
REMINDER:
-No classes next Friday, November 3rd as this day is designated as a “Joint Staff Development Day.”
HOME & SCHOOL:
-The money collection continues for the compilation of 3 baskets for the upcoming Christmas Fair raffle ticket sales table. We are asking students to bring $1 to cover the cost of items. Money may be sent with your child to the home room teacher or the Hot Lunch Program until November 5th. Thank you in advance for your support.
-The Home & School Christmas Craft Fair committee is looking for musicians interested in donating their musical talent during the upcoming Craft Fair on November 24th and 25th in order to enhance the public shopping experience. Please email Patricia Callaghan at spcallaghan@pei.sympatico.ca for further information or to sign up for a time slot(s).
COMMUNITY NOTES:
-The Annual Stratford & Area Food Drive will be held on Sunday, November 19 with door-to-door pick-up from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Thank you for your support as we work to help fill the shelves of the Upper Room Food Bank. For further details or to volunteer, please call 569-4769.
-Flu Immunization: The best way to protect yourself and others from the flu is for everyone over the age of 6 months to get vaccinated each year. This year the flu vaccine is free to everyone living in PEI and all Public Health Nursing flu clinics are walk-in only, no appointment is needed.
