We know parents have many questions. Answers will be coming as the PSB works with the Office of the Chief Medical Officer to determine what can happens as the province moves through the Renew PEI process. Here is the link to that document which outlines the guiding principles and phased approach to reopening businesses, services and public spaces in Prince Edward Island: www.princeedwardisland.ca/renewPEI Parents can be sure that we will provide information as quickly as we can as it becomes available.
Further information is available on the provincial government’s response to COVID-19, including resources, program applications and important public health information by visiting: www.princeedwardisland.ca/COVID19
We are thinking about our Grade 6 students and the activities that might happen for them as they say goodbye to Greenfield and plan for Summerside Intermediate School. Grade 6 teachers are talking and planning. More will be coming on this.
Our Kindergarten Team is thinking about our incoming Kindergarten students for September 2020 and will be in touch with all parents next week. A further post will be coming.
We hope of students and parents are staying well and that our students are participating in the Home Learning activities their teachers are providing. There is much hard work and creativity in our teachers’ weekly lessons! Parents are welcome to contact their child’s teacher at any time. Emails are on this website under GREENFIELD STAFF.
Stay safe, everyone!
