• We would like to welcome staff guests today: Ms. Marcy Lesperance, Mr. Christoper Wu, Ms. Nicole Decoursey and Ms. Anna Campos-Axworthy!
• Today is Red, Pink and White Day in our student union organized Valentine Celebration Week!
• A chance all week to buy a candy-gram at lunch or take a guess at how many candy are in a jar – for a chance to win a prize on Friday! See Ms Amy or Ms Krystal at lunch time!!!
• Go Play after school for students in grade 1-4 today
• Tomorrow, Wednesday February 12, will be WEAR PURPLE DAY as well as a bake sale to be put on by the Student Council. All Students can purchase items at lunch time and first break. Items will be .50 or $1.00

Monday- guess the number of candy hearts in the jar (student council will be around to each class to explain and show jar to all grades) ballots for guesses are in the office. 10 cents per guess!!

Tuesday- RED, PINK and WHITE day. Dress in your festive colors to show some love.

Wednesday- Purple Day and Bake Sale hosted by the Student Council. All items .50 or $1.00

Thursday- Walk to End Violence and Valentine Door Decorating Contest

Friday- Steal Your Heart Game and Valentine Dance at end of day

 

All week long any student may buy a candygram from Ms. Krystal or Ms. Amy for .50 or $1.00 to keep it anonymous. Candygrams will be delivered the next morning to each classroom

We are pleased to announce that we have one special student who is a recipient of the Dreams Take Flight program. Jamie R. will be going on a once in a lifetime trip to Disney World in Florida. 

Jamie is a grade 7 student here at Georgetown Elementary School who is a wonderful big sister and is so kind to her classmates. Jamie is so deserving as she always works so hard at her studies each day.

Congrats to Jamie and have fun on your big trip.
