Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 – Day 5

Christmas Families:

  • Candy Canes will be for sale every day at break and lunch at a table in your grade level area. 25 cents for small and 50 cents for large
  • We will be holding a cupcake auction this year on December 10th. Like other years we will be looking for donations from families but this year we will keep our baked goods to single serve cupcakes or cookies. It will be a virtual auction into homerooms so each homeroom can decide how they want to team up to get the best sweet treats.
  • We will also be raffling off a Christmas basket this year. The total value of the basket currently stands at $260 but we expect even more gift certificates to be added to the basket this week. Tickets are one for $1 or three for $2.

Duke of Edinburgh:

  • The Book Trailer Contest is well on its way. Choose your favorite book and create a book trailer(similar to a movie trailer) in hopes of persuading someone else to read it. Get your submission into Mrs. Gairns by December 14th. Good luck

Grade 7 Off-Grounds tomorrow:

  • Boys:Tryouts continue today for all names posted outside the gym 3:00 – 4:30.  If you didn’t get a chance yesterday, please check the list on the bulletin board outside the gym.  
  • Girls: Please check the list by the gym after lunch.  Tryouts for A & AA continue tomorrow for those students. 3:00 – 4:30

  • There will be an outdoor adventure club meeting at 12 oclock in Mr. Dohoo’s room 223. All members that are interested in rock climbing this week must attend, even if they have already signed up. New members are always welcome.

The total value of the basket currently stands at $260 but we expect even more gift certificates to be added to the basket this week.
