Friday, Oct. 12, 2018 – Day 1

Student Fees:

  • Thank you to all students who have paid their Student Fee ($35 for each student or $45 for family). This fee covers student locks, lockers, home economics ,wood working, winter carnival, special events, motivational speakers and other activities that occur during the school year. Receipts are available upon request.. For any student who hasn’t paid, please pay in the office or online at:

Athletic Fees:


  • Girls’ AA soccer:  The girls managed a tie 1-1 in a close game in Summerside. Congrats to Reanna Rinco on her goal! Practice Monday, games Tues, Wed & possibly Thursday.
  • Girls’ A soccer: Girls will be hosting Montague at 4:30, please be dressed and ready at the field by 4pm!
  • Boys’ A soccer:  Congrats to the A BOYS soccer team on a BIG 3-1 win over QC !!!  Ryland MacEwen was solid in Nets – while David Xu , Arun Darjee, and Zin Min scored big goals for the Cobras.
  • Boys’ AA soccer: East Wiltshire at 4:15- taxis at the back door at 3:15- be dressed to play before you leave. Please bring in your $30 team athletic Fees ASAP.


  • Girls’ Volleyball: Good luck to A & AA girls volleyball teams participating in the Stonepark tournament this weekend.  An announcement will be made to dismiss the team to travel to their game.
  • P3 Volleyball program for girls grades 7-9 Fridays at Birchwood.  Program will run for 8 weeks. For more information, contact Volleyball PEI

Field Hockey:

  • Game against Montague in Montague at 4:00. Please excuse the girls from class at 2:50.

Hockey Academy:

  • Deadline for hockey pools is today.  Please hand in to Mr. Brioux or Mr.James

Outdoor Adventure Club:

  • A big shout out to the club members who braved the cold rainy weather yesterday to pick 20 pounds of apples for the breakfast program. Next week’s activity will be discgolfing at the best course in Canada. The outing will be on Wednesday after school and there will be a meeting in Mr. Dohoo’s room on Monday at lunch. New members are always welcome!


  • Glee Club:
    • Rehearsal today at noon in Mr. Underhay’s room.
