Please be advised of the “Closing of the Atlantic Bubble”: Dr. Morrison has indicated that students who have traveled to the provinces of Nova Scotia or New Brunswick within the last week (since November 16), should continue to attend school while following the enhanced Public Health Guidance listed here:
– Closely monitor for symptoms
– Wear a mask or face covering at all times (including outdoors)
– Limit your contacts
– Practice good hand hygiene
– Physically distance when possible
– Download the COVID alert app.
In addition, for students who have traveled to NS or NB within the last week, they should not be participating in organized activities outside the regular school day for 14 days from the date of return. This would include community based activities as well as any before or after school activities, such as school basketball teams, after school tutoring, before school band practice, before/after school clubs, etc. Students will not be penalized if they are required to follow this Public Health Guidance.
