A Social Media Information session for parents/guardians is taking place in the school’s Multi Purpose Room on Wednesday, February 26th at 7:00 p.m.(tonight!)

Thursdays (2:30-3:30 p.m.–Grade 6 (ending March 6th)
Please Note: Please include an extra snack when packing lunch!

You must have snow pants to slide on the hill.

-March 10th (Tuesday)–Grade 5 & 6 Heritage Fair (Storm Date: March 11th)
-March 10th (Tuesday)–Grade 3 trip to the Agriculture Day at East Link Center.
-March 16th-20th–Mid-Term Break–No Classes
GRADE 6 NOTES:
Registration deadline for Late French Immersion for the academic school year 2020-2021 is February 28th.
-May 7th (Thursday)–Parent Information night in the Cafeteria at 7 p.m.
-May 8th–Grade 6 Orientation (a.m.)
May 8th–Grade 6 half day orientation (a.m.)

PINK SHIRT DAY-today:
The school is a sea of pink today! Students and staff are wearing pink as a show of support and solidarity for people who have been bullied and to communicate caring. The theme for this year’s Pink Shirt Day is “Lift each other up.” We welcome Const. Cindy Bowring, RCMP, as she presents to our classes this morning.
BOOK FAIR-March 2nd-6th:
Information went home with students regarding the upcoming Book Fair. Each Class will have one scheduled time to visit the Fair during the school day. The Book Fair is open to the public on Thursday, March 5th (2:30-7:00 p.m.) and Friday, March 6th (9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.) All funds raised will be used to purchase material for the Library.
DRESS DOWN-Having some fun!:
Students and staff are invited to wear their ugly sweats tomorrow, February 27th!
Friday, February 28th is designated as a Professional Development Day; therefore, there will be no classes. Students will return to class Monday, March 2nd.
Three students from Mrs. Matheson’s 5D class were winners of the Charlottetown Legion poster and literacy contest! These students were recognized on our morning announcements.
