–After School Volleyball (Grade 6) Tuesdays (October 22nd-November 12th)—(2:30-3:30 p.m.) Pick up time: 3:45 p.m.
COUPON BOOKS:
Booklets will be sent home with students Monday, November 4th. Thank you for supporting this fundraiser.
STUDENT PICTURES:
Pam Bernard, Lifetouch representative, is with us today for picture retakes.
LIBRARY NOTES:
-Flyers went home with students regarding the upcoming Book Fair (November 4th-8th). Classes have a designated day and time to shop during the school day. The Book Fair will be open to parents on Thursday, November 7th from 2:30-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, November 8th from 9 a.m.-noon.
Payment Methods: Cash, Check and credit/debit.
All funds raised will be used to purchase books for our Library!
HOME & SCHOOL HOLIDAY MARKET:
-The Stratford Schools’ Holiday Market is taking place November 22nd & 23rd at The Stratford Town Hall. This is a major fundraiser for our schools (Stratford Elementary & Glen Stewart Primary).
PEDICULOSIS:
-Just a reminder to check your child(ren’s) head on a regular basis for lice. Please contact Ashley Shields, Public Health Nurse, at 368-4530 if you have any questions.
UPCOMING:
-There will be no classes on November 8th (Friday)–Parent-Teacher Interviews.
–November 11th (Monday) is Remembrance Day; therefore, there will be no classes.
–November 14th (Thursday) & November 15th (Friday) is reserved for the annual PEITF convention and CUPE Annual Convention. There will be no classes on those days.
COMMUNITY NOTE:
The Annual Stratford & Area Food Drive will be held on Sunday, November 17 with volunteers going door-to-door from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm. Please give generously in support of the Upper Room Food Bank. For further details or to volunteer, please call (902) 569-4769.
