After School Volleyball (Grade 6) Tuesdays (October 22nd-November 12th)(2:30-3:30 p.m.) Pick up time: 3:45 p.m.
The 2019 Christmas Stocking Stuffer coupon book order forms went home with students. Order forms and money will be collected  on Monday and Tuesday, October 28th and 29th. This week is School Library Week! Here are a few of the events that are lined up:
-Character Pumpkins–Great job to our Grade 5 & 6 students. Winners were announced!
-Congratulations to our grade 3 & 4 students for their participation in the Mystery Character Contest. Winners were announced!
-Contest winners received a gift certificate for the upcoming Book Fair.
-Thank you to the grade 3 & 4 students who decorated fall leaves with the title of their favorite book.
Lots of beautiful displays in the library!
-We are having the Playground Opening this Sunday, Oct. 27th  from 2- p.m. We’d love to have lots of students and their families there!
-Purdys Fundraiser catalogues went home with students. Information regarding this sale can be found on the order sheet inside each catalogue. Completed order forms with payment to be returned to this school Monday, November 4th.
-The Stratford Schools’ Holiday Market is taking place November 22nd & 23rd at The Stratford Town Hall. This is a major fundraiser for our schools (Stratford Elementary & Glen Stewart Primary).
-Our school is a sea of crazy hats, hair and lots of fun! All monies collected will be used to purchase gift cards for the “Gift Card Tree” ticket fundraiser at the upcoming Holiday Market. Thank you for your support!
-Just a reminder for students to remember to dress appropriately for the cold, fall weather. Also, please pack an extra pair of socks, hats, mittens, etc., for the wet days.
