The 2019 Christmas Stocking Stuffer coupon book order forms went home with students. Order forms and money will be collected  on Monday and Tuesday, October 28th and 29th. This week is School Library Week! Here are a few of the events that are lined up:
-All Character Pumpkins are due today. Judging will begin tomorrow through Thursday with the winner announced Friday morning. There has been great creativity shown by our grade 5 & 6 students who have entered pumpkins.
-Grades 3 & 4 students are welcome to participate in the Mystery Character contest. Due Day: Thursday at lunch.
-The bulletin board outside the library has been transformed into a Graffiti board where staff and students can write down why they love their school library.
-Thank you to the grade 3 & 4 students who decorated fall leaves with the title of their favorite book.

Purdys Fundraiser catalogues went home with students. Information regarding this sale can be found on the order sheet inside each catalogue. Completed order forms with payment to be returned to this school Monday, November 4th.
-The Stratford Schools’ Holiday Market is taking place November 22nd & 23rd at The Stratford Town Hall. This is a major fundraiser for our schools (Stratford Elementary & Glen Stewart Primary).
Friday, October 25th, students at Stratford Elementary School are invited to participate in a Crazy Hat/Hair Day. A donation of $1.00 will be received to go towards the purchase of gift cards for the “Gift Card Tree.” Tickets for the Tree will be sold during the Market.
This afternoon Grade 5 & 6 classes will welcome a number of dignitaries and invited guests to celebrate the opening of their new wing!
