MESSAGE FROM HOME & SCHOOL–Spring Fling:
Spring Fling 2019 is happening Friday, June 7 from 5-8! This is a much anticipated community event and an important fundraiser for Glen Stewart Primary and Stratford Elementary. It is being held at the Stratford Town Hall for the first time this year. As you know, we need well over 100 volunteers to run this event successfully.. There are many ways to help at the Spring Fling – running games, working food stations, face painting, doing manicures and/or baking for our dessert cafe – and all the options are listed in the sign up genius below. Shifts are just over an hour and a half long, so there is also lots of time to enjoy the evening with your kids when you volunteer. Please contact me at email@example.com if you have any questions at all. Thanks, Natalie Fraser

MESSAGE FROM REPORT CARD COMMITTEE:
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As you know, the report card/learning report is one of many ways that teachers share information about each student’s achievement. It’s been five years since the reports were updated. The Public Schools Branch and Department of Education are in the process of updating the report card for kindergarten through grade nine.Changes will take effect for the 2020-2021 school year.
The survey will be available online until June 11, 2019 for parents and guardians. It is brief and will take about 5 minutes to complete. Here is the link https://tinyurl.com/psbreport2019
Google translate might be helpful for parents of our English as Additional Language (EAL) students.
If you have questions, please contact your school principal.
On behalf of the Committee, thank-you for your time and input. Luanne Inman
Chair, PSB Report Card Committee.
