Information went home with students regarding the “try out” schedule for the championships. The schedule is as follows:
Doubles–Wednesday, March 27th–Gr. 5 & 6 Boys
Doubles–Thursday, March 28th–Gr. 5 & 6 Girls
Singles–Tuesday, April 2nd–Gr. 5 & 6 Boys
Singles–Wednesday, April 3rd–Gr. 5 & 6 Girls
The top 3 players in singles and the top 2 teams in doubles from the school tournament will go on to represent Stratford at the Zone 3 Championship on April 15th (Doubles) and April 16th & 17th (Singles). The Provincial championship will take place April 30th & May 4th.

June 26th–Grade 6 Closing (9 a.m.) & Final Day of Classes

The order deadline for 2018-2019 yearbooks is Friday, April 19th for on-line orders and Thursday, April 18th for in-school orders. In addition to in-school orders, our on-line Hot Lunch program is set up to receive orders as well as Lifetouch (ybpay.lifetouch.ca)

Please Note: We don’t stock extra yearbooks to sell in June; therefore, this is the only opportunity if your student is interested in receiving a yearbook.
We remind parents to listen to the radio on a regular basis and check out the storm or Public Schools Branch websites in case their is a delay or Early Closure. Also, buses that have been delayed due to breakdown, etc., are announced on the radio.
Congratulations to all Destination Imagination participants. We had a great tournament on Saturday and everyone who represented Stratford Elementary did a wonderful job!
A number of UPEI students representing Bury & Bloom will be visiting our 5D (Mrs. Matheson) class this afternoon. They will be presenting on environmental literacy.
A character education assembly will be held tomorrow morning. Students and staff are invited to wear their “Caught You Caring” t-shirts.
