Stonepark Intermediate School is very excited to be launching a new fundraising campaign this year. The 12 day – Recipes in Jar blitz runs until September 30.
This Canadian-based ‘Collective Philanthropy®’ program offers an opportunity to raise vital funds for the school and also support our local community. By purchasing products, people can support the school financially, the food needs of the greater community, and get to enjoy some delicious meals and wonderful treats.
Stonepark will receive 50% of the profits – these are necessary funds to help with school programming, special events, technology investments, and other school-related organizations.
Students will be rewarded for participating in the program through cash prizes for top sellers in each grade, random draws, and campaign goal achievements. For our grade 9 students, 25% of the profits will go directly towards paying on their grade 9 trip to Quebec and Ottawa in February 2020. All grade 9 students who sell at least 9 Jars will have their names entered into a draw for a $100 credit towards their trip payment.
At Stonepark we promote the character traits: Respect, Responsibility, Work Ethic, Attitude, Empathy, and Kindness. Through this campaign, we have a great opportunity to allow our students to enhance these traits. For every “Jar” sold we will be delivering a meal to the local food bank.
Our goal: for Stonepark goal to be able to deliver 2000 meals to the foodbank. That means our students and families will be counting on the entire Stonepark community to help! Help us help others!
Students will be campaigning door-to-door and can accept cash or cheque. In person orders will be delivered directly to the school for free. Please help us by spreading the word to your contacts and through your social media presence for on-line purchases.
Details about the campaign and the products, and ordering information are available on-line at our website:
