Darci Reardon had a two goal performance as she helped the Tigers field hockey team to a 3-0 win over Montague  Gwen Costello added the third while Kaelyn Doyle recorded the shut out. Miah Lawlor and Abby Larkin once again held the play in the mid field and Lydia Doyle played a solid game for the team. Well done girls!

Volleyball Club:
The Girls grade 7/8 volleyball club will hold their next session on Wednesday next week. Monday is a holiday so no volleyball that day.

Boys AA Soccer:
The AA boys soccer team is 3 and 0 after a hard fought win vs Queen Charlotte yesterday.   Playing into a brutal wind, Ibrahim Abouassalli scored his first of 2 goals minutes into the game after a cross from Alex Coady.  After Queen Charlotte equalized a few minutes later, Abouassilli scored the goal of the game with a bar down strike from 20 yards to put the Tigers ahead 2-1.  Cam Davidson and Javis Smith played strong minutes to keep the pressure on QC until Chase Bell picked up his 5th in 4 games to seal the 3-1 win.

Boys A Soccer:
The Boys A Soccer team lost to cross town rivals Queen Charlotte yesterday.  Unfortunately scores weren’t available by press time. The team would like to congratulate and send best wishes to graduating players Jeremy Dai and co-captains Owen Baird and Ahmed Albakheet. Mr Dunn and Mr MacSwain would like to thank all the players for their hard work this season. Please wash your uniforms and return to Mrs Steele asap!

Girls A Soccer:
Our Girl’s ‘A’ Soccer Tigers lost a heartfelt battle yesterday in Montague.  We fought hard, and had to battle our opponent, as well as the wind, where we were able to control the game for more than 80% of play.  We showed great teamwork, passing, and competitiveness, but fell short 2-0.  Coach ‘R’, and Coach Cudmore want to salute our grade 9 players, and give a BIG shout-out and thanks, to all the girl’s for their hard work this year.  We’d also like to give thanks to the parents and guardians for all of their support.  Way to go TIGERS!!!
