Thursday – Day 3

Cafeteria:
Pulled Pork on a bun served with baked savory wedges.

Private Property:
Students when you go out at lunch time – please be careful and do not go on people’s property.  Remember, you are representing Stonepark Inter – and that means stay off personal property.

Drama Club:
Drama Club Members who have paid their dues can pick up their scripts from
Mr. Pendergast today. Practice 3-4:30 in the cafeteria.

Self-Protection After School Program:
Charlottetown Rural High School will be hosting a Self-Protection after-school program starting this Wednesday. Run by Robert Norton of Norton Arts, this program provides valuable life skills in protecting ourselves from violence. It is available to all aged 12+ and runs from February 5-26 (3:45 – 5:00 pm) each Wednesday. Registration for the course can be done through https://www.nortonarts.org/schools.

 Leadership:
All peer mentoring will be canceled for the week while the grade 9’s are away.

Yearbook Committee:
The school’s yearbook committee is very excited to inform you that it’s time to start thinking about ordering you very own copy of the 2019-2020 yearbook.

Girls AA Basketball:
Congratulations to LAST YEARS – Stonepark AA Girls Basketball Team, as they were named the Basketball PEI team of the year.  Also,  Menna McCabe and Callum Power are both receiving the Basketball PEI’s Bantam Girl and Boy Player of the year for 2018-2019. Great achievement. All girls who played on the team last year are invited to the UPEI girls game tonight at 6pm where the team will get an award at halftime.
