Yearbook Committee:
The yearbook group will be meeting today, after school in Mr. Beaton’s room. The meeting will run until 4:30.

School Newspaper:
We will meet today in the regular spot at 12:20.  Please bring your lunch.

NEW YEAR, NEW DRAMA! The drama club will meet in Mr. Pendergast’s classroom after school today, 3 to 4:30.  See you there!

Old Year Books:
We have just cleaned out the Year Book room at school and have excess copies of old yearbooks. If you have an older child who graduated from Grade 9 at Stonepark, or know someone who does, we have yearbooks for the following years:
1996, 1997, 2000-2001, 2002-2003, 2003-2004, 2005-2006, 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012, 2018-2019.  Call the school for details. A minimum donation of $5 per book would be appreciated.

Ski Club:
Will meet today during reading period in the lobby to discuss next week’s ski trip.

Girls A Basketball:
The girls will practice tomorrow (Friday) from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

PEI Crime Stoppers Pink Shirt Design Contest for 2020:
They are asking students to promote awareness, understanding and openness about the problem of bullying and to commit to standing up against bullying. Students who wish to compete should submit a design for the 2021 PEI Pink Shirt. Applications can be found on their website or pick one up here in the office.
The design should:

• Reflect an anti-bullying message

• Be in PDF or JPG format.

  • Be submitted electronically to:
  • The design must be one colour only.
  • Team entries are permitted with a maximum of 2 persons per team.

    Deadlines – All entries must be received by PEI Crime Stoppers
    ( by February 14, 2020 All entries must include a completed registration sheet.

A panel will decide the winning entries and the winner(s) will be announced and
displayed at the Charlottetown Islanders game in February 23, 2020.

First Prize: Android Tablet or $500.
Second Prize: Autographed Charlottetown Islander Hockey Stick
