Semi:
The grade 9 semi will take place on Thursday, June 13 at the Rodd Charlottetown. Semi tickets will be sold at noon time on the following dates:
May 14 and 16
May 21 and 23
May 28 and the final day May 30

Band Camp forms:
The Intermediate and Senior levels are now available in the band room and on the band blog. All grade 7, 8 and 9 band students are encouraged to attend. This year’s camp is being held here at Stonepark from August 19th-24th.

Industrial Arts:
There will be extra help given today in Industrial Arts at 12:15 – (on both sides) please be on time.

Needlecraft Club:
Needlecraft club takes place today at 12:15 in Miss Dockendoff’s room/

Green Team:
There will be a Clean-Up Blitz outside today and tomorrow from 1:00 to 1:30. Green Team members are asked to meet in the lobby right after lunch and to ask your 5th period teacher if it is okay to miss the first 15 minutes of class.

Heritage Fair:

Congratulations to all Stonepark students who participated in the Provincial Heritage Fair last week at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. A big congratulations to Jaden Paul of 7I who was named the only Grade 7 student of 15 finalists for Grades 5 to 9, for her project on St. Mary’s First Nation. Jayden can now take part in a video competition to be one of 6 projects across Canada to visit Ottawa. How to vote for Jayden’s video will be in our next newsletter.

Girl’s Softball:
There will be a Girl’s softball practice on Tuesday in the gym from 3:15-4:30.

A Girls Flag Football:
Taxis will leave for Cornwall Turf at 2:45

Girls A & AA Flag Football:
A and AA Girls Flag Football will practice Tue and Wednesday after school this week.

Badminton:
Congratulations to Luke Coughlin and Spencer Gallant, who competed in the Provincial Singles badminton finals over the weekend at SIS.
Luke took home a Silver medal in Bantam Mens! (2nd place for the Island)
Spencer took home Gold medal in Intermediate Mens! (1st place for the Island)
Mr. Rooney and Mr. Trainor want to thank all team members for a great season!
If anyone still has safety goggles or shirts, please return them ASAP to Mrs. Steele or Mr. Harkness.
