Battery Recycle Week:
This is an initiative of the Green Team. During the week of Jan 14th – 18th, students, staff, parents, and community members are encouraged to bring in old batteries to be sorted and recycled.
The Expressions Group will restart tomorrow (Tuesday) from 3:00 pm 4:30 pm – and every Tuesday after at that same time. Come and enjoy games, stories, meet new friends etc.
Ms. Poirier would like the peer mentors to check our Google Classroom, as I have a job for those interested.
Is a fantastic opportunity to combine sciences and the arts in a self-directed project displayed at a provincial competition. If you are interested, meet in Mr Pendergast’s class Tuesday, Day 3 at 1230.
There will be a Green Team meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 8th, in the library during Reading Period. All class reps should attend.
Grade 9 early am band is canceled for tomorrow (Tuesday). There will be a grade 9 Honours Band rehearsal instead at the same time.
Grade 7’s are reminded that there will be a grade 7 band rehearsal today beginning at 12:35 in the band room.

Girls A Basketball:
The girls “A” basketball team played in the Summerside Intermediate tournament this weekend. They lost their first game to Athena on Friday but came back on Saturday and competed hard to beat SIS by 3 and lost to QC by 3. Bella Quinn was high scorer in all 3 games. Bella, Kaisley Wilson and Delaney Dunn were all awarded a player of the game. Great effort by all.Way to go!!
