The yearbook committee is busy working to capture all of Stonepark’s special events and memories. If you are interested in pre-purchasing your copy of the 2018-2019 yearbook, you can use the link on the school website (in the header at the top of the page),or you may see Mrs. Gallant, upstairs in grade 7. As well, yearbooks will be on sale in the lobby during lunch hour (12:05-12:35) on Thursday Dec. 6th. The cost of the yearbook is $35 or $40, if you want a personalized copy with your name embossed on the front cover. There will only be 200 copies of the yearbook printed. Be sure to order yours early!

Stonepark’s Got Talent:
It is that time once again to prepare for this year’s Stoneparks Got Talent. We are calling on all singers, dancers, artists, poets you name it for this year’s Stoneparks Got Talent. If you are interested please sign up outside the Learning Center. Downstairs outside Grade 8.
Veggie Box orders:
A reminder to any student selling veggie boxes for the Grade 9 trip that the order forms need to be returned by this Friday December 7th. Orders will be picked up here at the school on Monday December 17th. Thanks in advance for your support!
Boys AA Basketball:
The boys played a hard game versus Queen Charlotte last night but came up a bit short to lose 61-52 …. the scorers were Kalon MacDonald-Wood 26 points, Owen Headley 12 points, Willis Bulger 5 points, Noah Stanley 4 points, Kallen Power 3 points and RJ Acorn with 1 point
Boys A Basketball:
The Stonepark Tigers Boys A Basketball Team hosted their first game of the season on Tuesday vs Queen Charlotte #2. Our boys got ioff to a slow start and were down 22 to 9 at half time. Stonepark were able to capitalize on improved defensive play and scoring in the 3rd quarter and close the gap within 3 points to make it 31 to 34 after the 3rd quarter. In the final quarter Stonepark came out strong to lead 38-37 but Queen Charlotte was able to score 3 three point shots within the final 2 minutes and won by a final score of 55-40. It was an exciting first game of the season. Scorers for Stonepark were: Abdi Mohamud (25 points), Simon Bernabe (7 points), Connor Mosher (4 points), Matthew Redmond (2 points) and Jonathan Gaddess (2 points). Top Re-bounders were Ryan Cheverie (7 rebounds), Jonathan Gaddess and Simon Bernabe with (4 rebounds) each. All 13 players on the roster entered the game. There is no practice this evening (Wednesday) and our next game is against Grace Christian at Immanuel Christian Gym on Thursday at 4:15pm.
