Immunization continues to be an important health measure for individuals and the overall school population. A high level of COVID-19 vaccine uptake in the school population minimizes the risk for vulnerable staff, students and family members, and is important for reducing the risk of school disruption due to case and contact management.

The Chief Public Health Office has provided a report of COVID-19 student vaccination rates by school, as of February 6, 2022. It can be downloaded here: COVID-19 Vaccine Coverage (by school, February 6, 2022) (PDF)

Additional clinics for children 5-11 years old are being added regularly across the province. Parents are encouraged to get their child vaccinated as soon as possible.
