Remote learning to continue until January 24

As announced today, the return to in-person learning has been delayed until January 24, 2022, with a further update next week.

We will continue to provide remote learning and are working with the Department of Education and Lifelong Learning to explore ways we can provide additional assistance to students who need extra support. School will be communicating with parents and guardians over the next few days.

With the decision to continue with remote learning, high school examinations will not be held.

Teachers will use class based assessments to determine the final grade for first semester courses. Assessments given during remote learning will be included in the final mark.

During the scheduled examination days, teachers will use this time to support students with prior learning and complete any outstanding assessment activities. No new instruction will be provided during the scheduled examination period.

During remote learning, students are encouraged to continue engaging with their coursework to ensure they complete their class-based assessment tasks.

If your child is struggling with the current situation, we strongly encourage you to reach out for support. You can contact your school or Student Well-being Team for school-based supports or reach out to another health care service, which can be found on the government website at

If you have any questions or require more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your school.
