We know our families have been waiting patiently for the opportunity to pick-up the personal belongings of their children. We are excited to now have a plan in place for this to happen.
As well, this is an opportunity for parents to return any items that they may have that belong to the school or to teachers, such as library books, classroom books and materials. There will be a bin set aside for these items. We hope you will take the time to check at home and see if you have any items to return.
We will have staff available to provide student items on two dates:
Friday, May 29 – French Immersion classes – 9:00 to 12:00
Monday, June 1 – English classes – 9:00 – 12:00
As we are required to follow the CPHO protocols and social distancing guidelines, we ask that parents follow this procedure:
1. One adult comes to the school.
2. Park and come to the front doors of the school. If there is someone ahead of you, please respect social distancing guidelines and wait in line.
3. When indicated, come into the school. There will be a table set up with lost and found items. If you see something that belongs to your child, you can pick it up. We ask that parents not handle items if they are not sure something belongs to them. We will provide opportunities for this at a later date.
4. Proceed down the hall to the gym doors. A staff member will get your child/children’s items from their teacher and you can exit through the gym doors to the parking lot.
We hope to move quickly and not have parents waiting for too long.
If a parent is unable to come on either of these days, we will be looking to set another date in the near future.
Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.
