Wednesday, February 26 is Pink Shirt Day. Wearing a pink shirt on this day shows that you are against bullying and that you want your school to be a place where everyone is accepted and feels safe. We are hoping all our students will wear pink shirts on that day and that we will remember this throughout our school year.
Nathan DesRoches, Assistant Coach with the Summerside Caps, will be here to speak to our students in Grades 4, 5 and 6. He has an important message to share about bullying and the effects it can have on a person. Members of our Summerside Police Department will be joining us in pink at our Breakfast Program and at Nathan’s presentation.
There should be a “sea of pink” at Greenfield to celebrate this important day.
