Another week has flown by us here at Greenfield!
Our Kindergarten classes had a wonderful day at Arlington Apple Orchard on Friday. The trip was postponed on Tuesday due to the weather but it was a beautiful day for their visit today. Kindergarten has their Teddy Bear Clinic coming up on Thursday next week. We hoping all Teddy Bears will be good health after their examinations.
Our parking lot changes continue. On Friday two cement barriers were put in place so please keep an eye out for those! Two signs will be put up soon and, hopefully, our parking lot will be efficient and safe for all.
We have a student in our school who has a egg allergy. As a result, eggs will no longer be served in our breakfast program on Wednesdays. We are sure everyone appreciates the need for this precaution. Further information will be coming on this.
Please remember that all Norcard orders are due on Monday, September 5th. Prize winners will be announced on Friday, October 4th.
Our Terry Fox Run will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd at 2:00. As our students in Grade 4, 5 and 6 will be leaving the school grounds for the run, a permission slip will be going home. In the morning, Fred Fox, Terry’s older brother, will be visiting the school to speak to our students about Terry and his legacy and to present a 20th Year Participation Banner to the school. There will be a school assembly at 9:45. Parents are welcome to attend.
It looks like a busy week ahead. Have a great weekend, everyone!
