Thank You to Town of Georgetown for donating the trees and our volunteers who came out on Saturday and planted several trees in our school yard!  Looks great!

Friday, June 2nd–Hornet Pick of the Week

K/1 Class–Hornet Pick of the Week–Mischa Zavo, for having a great attitude about learning and working so well independantly.
2/3 Class–Hornet Pick of the Week–Nicole Stevens, for working hard everyday with Ms. Mair and jumping up 3 levels in reading!
4/5/6 Class–Hornet Pick of the Week– Keilee Scanlon, for her upbeat and warm personality that touches all of the 4/5/6 class everyday!
7/8 Class–McPhee Gotell, McPhee has worked exceptionally hard to create notes that are clear and accurate!  She has taken extra efforts to re-do work and her scribblers/binders are excellent models of student learning!  Great Job McPhee!

What an Amazing job everyone did last night at the Variety Show!!  A Lot of work went into last night and it showed!!  GES has a lot of talent!  Thanks to everyone who was involved behind the scenes as well!   A Big GES Thank You to Haley Zavo for her dedication to the show!!

Tuesday, May 30th

Variety Show is tomorrow @ 6:30.  Cake Auction and cup cake sale.

Variety Show practice is for everyone today at the Playhouse til 5 PM.

A Big Thank You to Richard & Stacy Toms from the Maroon Pig who generously hosted a fundraising dinner on Monday evening.  Funds raised will to help improve sports or other infrastructure in and around Georgetown Elementary School.  Awesome!!

Assessments are being written again this morning for Grades 3 & 6.

Grade 8 Tickets are on sale, get yours from a Grade 8 Student, and will $500!!

Yoga is on tonight at GES, sponsored by GO PEI.

Track & Field practice today after school!  Ms. Praught said this a mandatory practice, as the meet is 3 days away.  Ms. Praught needs everyone  in attendance that is planning on going ot the meet on Friday.

Hornet Pick of the Week for May 12th:

Grade k/1  -Jace Myers, He has been working hard to work independently.

Grade 2/3- Patrick Collings, He is making improvements in his reading and working hard everyday in class.

Grade 4/5/6-Shane Brousseau, He is being a consistent listener in all classes and always leading by example.

Grade 7/8-Stevie Boudreau, After a long weekend of competitive dance, Stevie returned to school and worked very hard.  She caught up on all missed work without a single complaint.
