  • Absolute last day will be tomorrow by 10:00 a.m. to put in an order for 60th anniversary commemorative t-shirts- royal blue t-shirts or black and grey baseball shirts with the snappy new logo created by Mrs. Dalziels graphic designer dad
  • Today is Day 1
  • 2018/2019 School Supply Fee of $35 accepted anytime for returning students (School Supply List will be available prior to school closing for those not interested in having homeroom teacher buy school supplies)

Friday June 15

  • Amazing job by everyone who participated in the Variety Show last night at Kings Playhouse- wonderful show from start to finish!!!
  • Hat Day today- donations accepted and will be going towards a monetary gift to Camp Emmanuel to show how much we appreciated the great experience everyone had at their field trip on Wednesday
  • T-shirt orders going in today for “60 years and counting” t-shirts or baseball shirts: prices from $9-$22, see post below for more details

Cash and Prize Bingo- Sunday June 24th, 2 p.m.

Georgetown Elementary Home and School will be hosting the final BINGO of the year. Sunday June 24 at 2 pm in the school gym will be a cash and prize bingo that supports the GES Home and School and their many worthwhile projects.  18 games and canteen services will be available.

Funds raised from the Sunday Bingo will go towards Alternative Seating for the 1/2/3 class- Comfortable chairs and stools that let little bodies wiggle and work!!! Thanks for your support with this special project.

60th Anniversary of Georgetown School T-Shirts




Check out this new logo…..as we are 60 years and counting, we are creating commemorative t-shirts to celebrate this impressive milestone for our little school. There are t-shirts available for purchase in the original school colors of royal blue and gold, as well as baseball shirts in black and heather grey with gold lettering.

Hornet Pick of the Week- June 8

Congratulations going out to our deserving Hornet Pick of the Week for June 8th, Ms. Lydia C. in our Kindergarten class . This little person has also qualified to be entered for the “Best Smile in School” award. Great Job, Lydia!!

Camp Emmanuel- End of Year Field Trip

Hello, a final call for any consent forms to attend this exciting end of year field trip. Camp trip is scheduled for Wednesday June 13 with possible rain date of June 15. The field trip has exciting activities to offer like: swimming, archery, canoes, rock wall, ball hockey, crafts etc.
