The Home and School are planning a Prize and Cash Bingo for Thursday April 11 here at Georgetown Elementary School. Home and School along with school staff will host the bingo. Games will run from 6-8 p.m.

Some on out and play Bingo and support some great causes. Fundraising from the Bingo will go towards an end of year trip for all students as well as towards replacement of LCD board in the K/1 classroom.

  • French club was a success yesterday: snacks, activities and french games were some highlights. Mr. Bradley hopes to see even more students out to join in the fun next Wednesday

  • Excellent job on the End of Winter Concert by all students last evening at the Kings Playhouse- truly a wonderful job by everyone who had a hand in putting together the production. BRAVO
  • In celebration of School Spirit Week we are having a bake sale today organized by the Student Council- funds raised will go towards Easter Seals Campaign
  • In celebration of French Week we are dressed in red, blue, white and yellow (Acadian Flag colors)
  • Tomorrow for Spirit Week it is Show & Tell in individual classrooms
  • Consents have gone home for final school skate of 2019- Please sign and return ASAP. Many thanks to the Board of Three Rivers for sponsoring the skates for Georgetown Elementary School this past year. So much fun for all the students and staff alike
  • The second session of the He(art) performance is happening this morning in 4/5/6 and in the 7/8 classrooms 🙂
  • A medieval feast is also happening in 4/5/6 for lunch today as celebration in completing this section in their curriculum

  • French Week at Georgetown Elementary School- Students will be reading the opening to the announcements and sharing a new group of French Words daily to use in everyday conversation- there will also be ongoing French games and a French treat at the end of the week
  • End of Winter Concert Tuesday at 6:30 pm- Students are encouraged to arrive at 6:15 p.m.- Full school rehearsal Tuesday morning
