  • Congrats going out to our x-country provincial meet participants, Gabbi K. and Rhys J. who did amazing on Saturday in Mill River and came away with wonderful race results
  • Dental Clinic continues today and tomorrow for all students interested in getting an extra cleaning and check-up by the Provincial Dental Public Health team, get your yellow consent forms back into school asap.




  • Bus routine of getting picked up at the back doors continues and is going very well and keeping our kiddos safe
  • IHT tomorrow for Grade 7 & 8 at Montague Intermediate School
  • Intramurals today for Grades 1 to 4 at lunch recess

Monday October 22

  • Hornet Pick of the Week for October 19th- Eden B. Congrats Eden, you are  helpful and caring to your classmates and great with the little ones too!
  • Check out the makeover and paint job that happened in the French and Math Classroom over the weekend. It looks amazing!
  • Provincial Assessment results will be going  home tomorrow, Oct 23, with last years Grade 3 and Grade 6 students
  • Please get in any Early Closure Forms still at home.
  • Grade 8 Travel tickets are now available for sale, get in touch with one of our Grade 8 Students: Eden B., Matilda G., Mason C., Gabbi K., Caleb H. & Shane B.   1st lottery draw will be on October 31st

Landon H. was the winner of a Terry Fox t-shirt for his exceptional fundraising efforts.

Tuesday, October 16, 2018 – 6:30-8:00 pm at MRHS Cafeteria

Join us for a panel discussion and a Q & A session with the following participants:

  • Hugh Panelas – RCMP Montague Detachment, Drug Recognition Specialist
  • Sterling Carruthers – School Health Specialist, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development
  • Laura Ranahan – Mental Health Social Worker, Community Mental Health and Addictions
  • Gillian Claybourne – Addictions Counselor, Community Mental Health and Addictions
  • Dr. Thor Christiansen – Family Physician, Montague
  • Mark Campbell – School Outreach Worker
