Sorry for the late notice, but due to illness we will have to cancel the extra Drama Club rehearsal that was scheduled for today. We are planning on meeting for rehearsal tomorrow for the upcoming performance on April 20th:(

Drama Festival rehearsals will be increasing this week so that we can be well prepared for our upcoming performance. Rehearsals are:
Tuesday, April 10th 3:10-4:15 (at school)
Wednesday, April 11th 3:10-4:15 (at school)
Thursday, April 12th 3:10-4:15 (at school)
Wednesday, April 18th 3:10-5:00 (at Kings Playhouse)

Badminton tomorrow April 10th for Grade 5 and 6 students playing in singles and doubles zone tournament that will be hosted at Montague Intermediate School- Players should arrive between 9:00-9:15 for games starting at 9:30 a.m.
Badminton on Wednesday April 11th for students in grade 7 and 8 will be hosted by Vernon River Consolidated School. Students should arrive at 9:00 a.m. for games starting at 9:30 a.m.
Parents will be driving students to and from games and can expect to see the tournament wrap up on both days at approximately 2:00 p.m.

Canada’s Ballet Jörgen will visit PEI on April 9th and will be visiting Georgetown School during their time on PEI. Thanks to Ms. Scully for organizing this exciting visit of ballet to our school.
This one-hour presentation is suitable for all ages but focused on children. The program provides opportunities to see real performances while learning about ballet as a storytelling medium. The interactive component also teaches basic dance positions and allows participants to discover their own ability to convey emotions through movement. We also bring costumes and pointe shoes for children to investigate.
The Eastern Eagles Soccer Club will be holding registration session for summer soccer at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Center in Montague on the following dates:
Saturday, April 7- 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 14- 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

A late fee of $20 per player will apply to all registrations received after; April 30th for youth players (U11 to U21) and May 30th for Mini Players (U5 to U9)
Note: Players registering after these dates will be placed on a team only if space is available.

Thanks to Barbie Matheson for the wonderful Milk presentation to Georgetown Elementary School. She would like to thank everyone for participating and is offering free milk to all students who attended the presentation.
