Earth Rangers Assembly- Feb 12

I’m excited to announce that we will be hosting an Earth Rangers assembly on Monday afternoon on Feb 12.

Earth Rangers is the Kids’ Conservation organization. They visit over 800 schools a year across Canada with a live Animal Ambassadors to educate students about the importance of biodiversity and conservation.

The Earth Rangers Assembly is a 45 minute dynamic, interactive, multi-media experience that features LIVE Animal ambassadors demonstrating their natural behaviors.  They use science-based information to educate children about the importance of protecting biodiversity while highlighting different conservation initiatives across Canada. Students will learn about the animal conservation projects they are helping this year, including the Gray Fox and Salamanders of Quebec’s Covey Hill. Please visit for details on each project.

Also new for this year,  they will be honouring our great nations birthday by taking you on a journey to celebrate our natural heritage and the great accomplishments Canada and Earth Rangers has achieved for conservation.

Here is a link to a clip of an Assembly so you can get an idea of what our students will experience:

We will also be participating in a battery blitz which will kick off at the assembly.  I will send out more information after the assembly about the collection of the batteries.
